Stratford Internal Medicine was founded by Dr. Schouten in 1984. We are a small, independent practice dedicated to treating adults and older adolescents. While very open to alternative and complimentary medicine, our focus is traditional, evidence based medicine delivered with care, concern, and compassion.
We are on the staff of Central DuPage Hospital and proud members of DuPage Valley Physicians, an independent practice association which holds us accountable for attaining quality benchmarks and by which we network with the finest specialists in western DuPage County.
To better serve our hospitalized patients, we partner with Central DuPage Inpatient Physicians, a group of providers who work exclusively at Central DuPage Hospital. CDIP cares for our hospitalized patients, freeing us up to be more available to our ambulatory patients. We maintain close communication with the CDIP physicians to assure continuity of care and to better serve you once you are released from the hospital.
